I found this on the internet (click on the third picture, the one with the sun and clouds), and it is pretty much 2 minutes worth of what I miss most and why I am so excited to go back to the Wasatch Mountains. Michigan is nice, but Utah is awesome!

"Dinners Ready"
Zack decided that he wanted to cook us dinner tonight. What a treat! I grabbed a chair and he picked the ingredients and well... ...as yummy as it looked, we decided it was probably best if we fed it to our disposal. But he tried, and it made a rainy yucky day fun.

Holland
We went camping in Holland, MI next to Lake Michigan. It was so much fun, apparently Holland has a dutch background here, and we were able to go inside a historic windmill that is still in use today. It was pretty neat. And the camping was awesome!

~Pool Party & Hosbuilder~
"HOSBUILDER" (as zack likes to call it)
Hospital
and then....we had to admit reagan to the hospital to get an IV because she was dehydrated. She had been throwing up all her milk for the last two days, and could barely keep rice cereal down. The doctor thought it was because she was in lake lansing on Friday and got some sort of virus. It all started Sunday morning. She was such a trooper through all the tests and not being able to leave her room. They made her stay over night, this is her when we first got there and she was hooked up....

no pictures for a while
do to unforeseen circumstances (I lost the camera) we will no longer be posting pictures on our blog. But if by some miracle you are at or around lake lansing and see something shiny, please don't ignore, check it out, it may be my long lost camera.
Our camcorder does take pictures, but I am sort of nervous taking it to parks and such.

catch-up
Zack had his end of school picnic at a park in Okemos. It was so much fun to go and see him "hanging" with his buddies from school. They are all just as roudy and outgoing as zack is so they get along pretty well. Hopefully I can get some more pictures from his teacher, but these are the only ones I have.

My first 5K and Zack's first 100 yard dash
Emily and I before the race started, we still look good
The home stretch! I finished in 28 minutes and 20 seconds!
Zack waiting patiently for his race to start. He was the youngest runner for this one. It was so fun to watch him! He came in dead last but he ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. He was so determined to finish. He looks so small compared to the other kids.
Ready, Set, GO!! The horn they blew kind of startled him so he was off to a slow start. But in the end they all got medals and we got him a shirt. So he was excited. He had fun, and it was so much fun to watch him do this. Everyone who was watching was cheering him on because he was the last one to finish (he was like 15 seconds behind the rest of the kids). sorry the picture sucks, but that is him running. I wish I would have recorded it.
Thank heaven for the medals, if they wouldn't have stopped him i'm afraid he would have kept running. Zack showing his medal off to the by standers who were cheering him on.
A fun picture to end our adventurous day. Don't mind my red face, I always get so red, and it doesn't go away very fast.

to all us moms
PRICELESS A man came home from work and found his five children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dogs.
Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.
She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?" She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?""Yes," was his incredulous reply.
She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."(author unknown)
