conversations with a 4 year old

here is my conversation with my 4 year old on our way to school today:
as we passed a borack obama campaign sign

Zack: mom, we don't like barack obama do we?
Me: it's not that we dont like him, we just don't like what he thinks (trying to keep it simple)
Zack: we have to kill him don't we
Me: NO, we don't want kill anybody!!
Zack: If he becomes president I will die...(at this point I see the wheels turning)
Me: really?!
Zack: We can't shoot him?
Me: We don't shoot people, we shoot deer.
Zack: how about the arm?
Me: lol No we don't shoot people.
Zack: then we have to put him in a big (he holds his hands out) container and like hide him.
Me: ummm, no let's just not vote for him.

It went on like this til we saw a big dump truck and I was able to change the subject. It is so funny what kids pick up when you don't think they are even listening.

Zack's 4th Birthday Party

I can't believe Zack is already 4, and this is his last birthday here in Michigan. He has had the last 3 here. And, what a crazy time of year to have a birthday. With Halloween just around the corner and Reagan's last week, I feel like this whole month is just one party. So fun. We went to the firehouse and back to our house for cake. Anyways, thanks to everyone who came to his birthday. Here are some pictures...

Here is a dress my mom bought for Reagan, a year ago, that she is finally fitting into. So cute!

Happy Birthday Reagan

I can't believe she is already one! We had just a little family party for her. All she wanted to do was dive into the cake when she saw it. She didn't hesitate a bit, and got it everywhere. But she had fun, and we had fun watching her. We are so blessed to have her little spirit in our lives.

A nEw BaG

I made this bag the other day, and I think it actually turned out kinda cute, if you don't look too closely at the sewing job. The inside has custom made pockets, one for reagan's bottle, one for my keys and cell phone so I no longer have to fish for them. One for Zack's drinks, and one for snacks. I even have one for toys. I have been looking everywhere for the perfect bag, and I think I found it. Thanks Ashley for helping me out!
