Rome

Loved all the fountains in Rome, you can actually drink from all of them!

throwing our coins into the fountain, legand says if you do you will come back next year.

the fountains lit up at night were my favorite

breakfast at our hotel

the line behind us to get into the basilica, (it wraps around to the left and beyond) the line in front of us was just as long.

gelato...need I say more

heading up to the Coupula, it did get skinnier and more slanted, kind of a 15 minute clausterphobic climb in circles

Cathedrals are really big

cute uniforms

Paris

Our first night in Paris.  We had a picnic in the Champ Du Mars Park next to the Tower.

We went out to Versaille to King Louis XIV's Chateau.. This is the famous Hall of Mirrors in the palace

This is the side of his "house"

Okay, so ignore me, but look at this King's "backyard"  We decided it stretched on for atleast 3 miles.  You can rent golf carts and bikes to use while you explore this place.  It is HUGE!

The Catholic Church claims they have a piece of the crown of thorns and a peice of a cross...just like they have peters remains at the bottom of the basillica...I guess i'm a doubting thomas...

...No rest for the wicked...

On our way to the Louvre

ha ha, he's so ashamed...someone even put a wine bottle in his hand.

The largest painting in europe or the world, can't remember but either way it's HUGE!

the Blue Boar, do my fellow heber/midway peeps recognize it?

SWITZERLAND

The top of the Shilthorn, you can see the three other major mountains in the back.  The tallest in
Europe being Jungfrauch, which is just above my head.  We went up there to have a "007" breakfast in a really cool rotating restaurant at the top.  They filmed an old 007 movie in the restaurant.  It had amazing views!

If you look closely it looks like Jacob is peeing! LOL

They really do make Duff Beer!

Filling up our water bottles...

The boys got to make their own Swiss Army Knives.
