wow, it's almost been a year!

Okay, okay I guess it's time to update this thing.  We've had an exciting last few months.  The kids are growing up so fast and keeping us really busy.  Hudson is now 10 months and is our climber...he can climb on nearly EVERYTHING, he has also become a very fast little crawler.  He LOVES to get into things he's not supposed to and sort of laughs when he's caught.  The kids have had a blast with him and they are always willing to help him out of tough spots like when he gets high centered on a toy or under the kitchen table.  He's really been a lot of fun to have around.

Reagan or "rudy" as we like to call her is a little princess, well she honestly believes that she is.  She can be so sweet at times and then she can turn it around in a matter of seconds and becomes the sassiest little thing.  She has a fun imagination at one point this summer she had to take her "dogs" everywhere with us.  We couldn't leave them at home by themselves and had to make sure they got out of the car before we could close the doors.  She is so fun with the boys and isn't afraid to go out in the dirt with Zac and get all sorts of dirty.  She loves hunting for worms in our "yard" which is just a whole bunch of dirt right now.  She gets to start preschool this year and is so excited to go to school like her older brother.

Zac still has as much energy as ever!  We have learned to focus his energy in sports and he has been taking Karate for nearly a year now, he did little wasps wrestling for the last couple of years and tried t-ball this year.  I'm not sure if he loves the sports or the interaction with the other kids more.  Either way it has been something he really enjoys.  He is in the dual emersion program at his school and is learning Spanish.  He will be going in to first grade this year!  He is excited to eat lunch in the lunch room this year, and learn some more spanish.  We had him in summer school  this year so he wouldn't forget the spanish or english he learned last year.  He is also excited to be at school all day...but i'm not sure how long that will last once he realized how long it really is.

Hudsons first hair cut done by me...poor little guy, it didn't turn out so well.

My brother and his wife were moving from Colorado to Washington and stayed with my parents for two weeks, so we tried to cram as much stuff into those weeks as possible.  The kids were sad to see them go they all get along so well and have so much fun together.

Ha, ha, my mom and angie at lagoon!

It's been a fun summer and we are sad to see it end.  I feel like we haven't done half the stuff we wanted to do, but I guess that's just how it goes.  We still have a couple weeks left, maybe we can get some more stuff in.

Lots of pics~

We took the kids to Disneyland. I had never been and Jeff hadn't been since he was little. So this was so much fun! We really had no idea what to expect, but WOW!! The kids had so much fun, and it was fun to see their reaction to all the rides and characters. Reagan was especially fun, she'd wait her turn and run right up to the characters and just melt into their arms. She was in heaven! We waited about an hour to see 3 princesses and we were one of the first in line to see Tinkerbell.  We didn't get to see Cinderella, her favorite.  Hopefully next time.
Zac liked seeing Mickey Mouse and Buzz the best, but he didn't seem that into it. He was more into the rides. His favorite was Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean and the Buzz ride inside California Adventure. We took him and Reagan on the Tower of Terror, or the "tower of hell" as Zac liked to call it. They didn't want to get back on that one! We probably shouldn't have taken them on it, but both wanted to go, and we really didn't know what it was...oops!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, a pirates life for me!

My lil' pre-gold belt!

Zac became a pre-gold belt Friday night.  He graduated from the white belt.  He was excited.  But to be honest, I don't get this whole karate thing.  But he was happy and that's all that matters.

Showing off his new belt.  Good job buddy!

Breaking his board! He thought that was pretty cool.
And it was!

This month has been crazy! So we decided a combined party
would be best.  The kids having cake and icescream.

the obsticle course

The cakes...nothing special this year, but I loved that we had hardly any leftovers!

The kids had fun, and there was so much for them to do.  It was a fun party.
Thanks to everyone who came and thank you to Heber Handspringers, they know how to party!

INTRODUCING...

Hudson Probst Riddle
8 lb 12 oz
20 1/2 in
9/16/2010

Yay! He is finally here, and we couldn't be more excited!  Just the quick version of the story... Reagan woke me up around 1:20 am with a bad dream, so I picked her up and carried her back to bed.  When I layed down again I started to get contractions about 2-4 minutes apart, I waited about 15 minutes to make sure and then woke Jeff up so we could head to the hospital.  We checked in around 2:30 and I had the baby at 4:44 am.  It went pretty quick!

The kids are excited to have him home.  They are going to be great little helpers...maybe a little too good at times.  But they can't seem to get enough of him.  It's going to be fun having him around.
