So.........for the last 7 years Jeff has been doing this

And...you know what....Jeff passed the Bar. We are very excited, and I am SO proud of him! He has worked hard for the last 3 years and deserved nothing less. It makes it all worth it.

Labor Day

We went up to Guardsman's Pass this Labor Day and had a little picnic up there. The kids seemed to have fun until the end when they got tired. We walked all the way around a little lake up there and even found some wild raspberries.

Brian is 2 for 3 with his kids and I'm 0 for 2. Why can't Zack just smile for the camera once! Just once! He is so busy doing other things, I guess, to do anything else. Zack, Brianna and Mason were thick as thieves up there.

RuNnInG

I ran the Provo Canyon 1/2 Marathon on Saturday. It was by far the funnest run I have yet to do...

I had to be at the riverwoods at 4:45 which meant I had to leave my house by 4:15. But I learned my lesson...don't wake up that early and catch one of the last busses to the starting line. We started 4 miles up Vivian Park and I was among the first busses to arrive (curse my need to be on time for EVERYTHING) so there we were about 50 of us standing in the dark watching busses come and drop people off then go back for more until there were nearly 2000 of us. We stood up there until about 7:15 am when the last bus came up dropped the people off then the race finally started. By the time the race started I was frozen along with the other 1999 people who were waiting. When I started to run I literally couldn't feel my feet up to my hands but I decided it was a good thing because I couldn't feel my legs on the main downhill part of the run.

Anyway, I did it and it was great. My time was 2:13:?? If you look at the website it says 2:23 but I had to pee half way through and jeff timed how long it took and it was 10 minutes exactly because the lines were so long.

But I am definatley looking forward to the next 1/2 I sign up for. It is way fun and addicting. I wish we would have taken the camera, but we forgot it.

Timpanogas Cave

Jeff and I took the kids up to see the cave. It was fun! Reagan cried EVERY time they turned out the lights in the cave and Zack loved EVERY minute of the cave. Zack again didn't complain as long as we took enough water breaks, but this time Reagan didn't even want to take a step down the hill. I carried her up the mountain and Jeff carried her down.

Stewart Falls

I took the kiddos up stewart falls last week. They did so good! Reagan walked the whole way up and cried when I had to hold her to walk down (she wanted to run down the trail but it scared me because of the drop off) And Zack didn't complain at all. I was a little hesitant to take them by myself, but they did great and it made me realize just how much they CAN do.

Days of 47 Rodeo

My brother and his wife came to town and we took the kids to the Days of 47 Rodeo. We got them all Wranglers, shirts and hats. They looked so dang cute as c'boys and girls. It was fun, and they LOVED the rodeo.

coupon mania

My sister-in-law has got me hooked on coupons! Today I bought $85 worth of grociers and only paid $20! I love a good deal, but man this was an amazing deal! I got Special K Blueberry cereal for 67 cents a box! WoW! My favorite was my second items (I had to do two transactions for the coupons to work) But I got 2 bags of marshmellows, 2 6-packs of hershey bars and 2 boxes of grahm crackers for $2.00!

My little man has taken up golf. He loves it so we took him up to the golf course to hit balls the other day. He had a great time. He also likes to hit it around the yard, we just have to remind him not to aim at the house or our car...

~7 Years Together~

Jeff and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Saturday. Jeff's brother Brian and his wife
Annelisa were nice enough to watch our kids. It was nice to be just us for one night and definatly a rare treat. Thank you so much!

I am lucky to have found such a great guy who was willing to marry me. We have learned so much from each other and have had some pretty amazing adventures, I can't wait to see what else the future holds.
